time to train?

If you are like me, married, 2 young children, 2 jobs, garden to take care of, friends, and a crazy desire to complete triathlons, then you know it is impossible to train, well train enough. Being someone who is usually in shape, well some form of in shape, I am able to finish and meet most of my goals without a whole lot of training. Each race finish I am happy....then I think if I just would of trained a little more or more consistently or well something else.
So how much is enough...I have no idea. I definitely do not do enough running, which is why I die in anything more than a sprint distance. (I hopefully have set myself up to train more running this season).
Swimming. I do lots of yardage early in the season, Jan - April, then it drops as I concentrate more on the bike. I start in Jan. with 2 days at around 2400 yards, always sets of 100,200 sprints, throw in a pull set and a kick set, finish with a 3-400. Come february I up the yardage to 3500- 4500 yards 2 days a week. once we hit March I increase to 3 days a week and keep distance between 3500-4500 a week, usually try to get one saturday a month of 5500 yards of serious sprint work (mainly 200 sets, free and IM, with one 4 x 400 free set). April is back to 3 days of 2500- 4000 yards.
Wait this is a blog about how much is enough<<At times there are guilty feelings, of what else could I be doing with the family or in the garden, or anywhere, but then I think how crazy would I be??? I have always been competitive, now it is just with myself. Can I get a better time, can I get better training in the same amount of time, can I stay committed? So many questions so little time.
SO how do I find time to train, 1)when the family is sleeping, 2)by being a little selfish.
Escape from Alcatraz is in 48 days, need to find more time to train.
