February 6, the second annual(for me) superbowl run. It is put on by the local running group - Lehigh Valley Road Runners, or LVRR for short, in the Parkway. Be sure to visit their website for some other local runs, http://lvrr.org/. Ran this for the first time last year and was worried about snow, well this year was no different, in fact snow and ice forced a course change. We now had to run up hill 4 times, in a 2 loop 5k course. It was tough and something I was not totally ready for. All things considered, I had a real nice run, even finished in top 100 to earn some custom wool socks - nice:) It was really nice to have friends join me this year, as 3 co-workers ran it as well. We had a blast drinking brews in my car afterward, yes it was cold outside.
