...I feel like crap. I did an easy 3.5 miles today, legs felt heavy and tired, couldn't breathe and mentally was not in the game. What has happened to me? 2 weeks ago, I was nailing the 13.5 mile run in 2 hours and felt great. Since I started the taper, I have felt horrible.
Tomorrow is a 2 mile run and hopefully no pain in legs. I tried to open it up for .5 miles and the calves hurt, really hurt like things were going to pull, so I shut it down. I am going to try and focus on visualizing the actual run, maybe that will get me on track.
Leave fro Va Beach on Friday, race is Sunday and looks to be good weather. Saturday looks like rain for the girls run, but they will still have fun.
