I finally started training again. My next event is Shamrock Weekend March 15, 2014. 16 weeks out so it was a good time to start. However, the weather decided to turn into winter.
You see it, feels like 15 currently and I ran 2 hours ago so take about 8 degrees off. Windy and cold is not the way to start a new training plan, but I decided and I did it.

Since the Wine and Dine, I took some time off to let the body heal up - I hope. The past week, I started swimming in the morning again and got a good 4 - 1 mile swims in. I also began to focus on my nutrition again. I am slowly removing the bad food from my daily intake and should be clean in about 2-3 weeks.
I know it will be tough over Thanksgiving weekend, but I will stay focused and do my best.
