It has been awhile since we ran the Mickey's Jungle Jingle and the Wine and Dine Half Marathon, but a snow day is always helpful in getting out the recap. Here we are at the airport in Philly waiting to board the plane on Thursday, Nov. 7.
The flight was smooth and our driver was waiting at MCO to take us to Saratoga Springs.
We had a great dinner our first night at Disney in Paris at Monsieur Paul's. The food was incredible and the desert was even better.
Friday, we went straight to the Expo. I did not want to take a chance of not getting the shirts I wanted, specifically the Coast to Coast shirt. It turns out they did sell out of the shirt, as someone who did not get one let me know on Sunday.

I got another great shirt. And we picked up our bibs .
Friday night, I planned early enough to get us some tickets to the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). We had a blast, this was our third party, first without children.
Had a blast, the castle show was new and incredible. I had to record it, not sharing here as it is cell phone quality, but the girls enjoyed it.
Mickey's Jungle Jingle
Saturday morning we were up early, 4:00am, for our 5k, the Mickey's Jungle Jingle. It was Collette's first official running 5K. Here we are on the bus to the starting line. Our driver was sooo lost, he made 3 wrong turns and people on the bus were beginning to get nervous. I eventually spoke up and told him where and when to turn. At one point he made a U-turn on Buena Vista Drive. If you know Disney, you know that is the main drag and almost impossible for a full bus to make a u-turn. It was an adventure.
We started in Corral A and ran/walked the entire race. I had to stop at one point to keep everyone safe on the course.
We ran the full race together, and finished together. As a special treat, we were part of the promotional finish video.

We sat around the rest of the day, I had a few Pabst and was in the hot tub, resting for the 1/2 that started at 10pm. Not sure what Collette did, but I am sure it involved a nap.
Wine and Dine Half Marathon
Headed over to the starting line and pre-party area early and was able to get a picture with Mickey, I am sooo lucky.
I was in Corral A, only wish I would have not stopped training in September. It would have made this a much more enjoyable and fun run. Instead, I ran as much as I could and suffered through 13.1 miles finishing in 2:09 or something like that. Here was the view from Corral A.
Meet my new friend from the Yuengling Shamrock, Rebecca Denny and her Aunt, she is amazing, yes she is running a 1/2 and is pregnant. Unlike me who only looks pregnant.
I made a few stop for some pictures, here is one with Captain Jack. Did I mention that it was CRAZY humid during this race.
I eventually finished and had my Coast to Coast.
Which meant it was time for the free beer and after party in Epcot. we stayed until 3am, it was sooo much fun, with the exception of crossing over the course to get to the party.
-Keep on training.
