Such a long time since my post, just been busy and have not focused on posting.
I am currently in Block 3 of P90X3 and have lost 16.5 pounds total. Block 2 was a good focus on the core as well as upper body. Continued focus on pull-ups has provided me with big gains.
I am able to do 10 pull-ups unassisted, 15 chin-ups unassisted both are close to my personal bests. Since doing the X3, my core has gotten much stronger and and tighter. I have seen incredible results with my running as a result of this new strength.
Block 3 has been mentally tough, I have lost some focus on the nutrition part of the workouts and keeping the motivation to push hard has been difficult. Once I start the workout, I bring it full throttle, it is just getting started that is tough.
This weekend is the Shamrock Marathon weekend in Va. Beach. I will be running an 8k with my girls on Saturday and then a Half Mary on Sunday. I am hoping to PR the Half. And of course enjoy some Yuenglings afterwards.
