Goals..we all set them and usually we do not think about them again until we do not reach them.
I have been thinking a lot about my goals recently and I have decided to set some short term goals and some long term ones.
Short term goals are developed to help me meet the long term goals. Some goals I have a lot of control over, other not so much.
Short term goals:
I have been thinking a lot about my goals recently and I have decided to set some short term goals and some long term ones.
Short term goals are developed to help me meet the long term goals. Some goals I have a lot of control over, other not so much.
Short term goals:
- a written weekly goal for nutrition plan
- a written weekly goal for workouts
Notice both goals can be measured and therefore easily check for completion.
- be a better spouse
- stop drinking beer and eating sugar as a regular part of nutrition
Midrange goals:
- run Shamrock Half Marathon in under 1:38
- lose 15 pounds for Shamrock Half Marathon
- be a better spouse
- sign up for another triathlon
- put phone down more often
Long term goals:
- get a building principal job
- change body shape - this may mean losing weight and then gaining weight - but lose belly fat
- be the spouse that my partner wants as a companion
I have always tried to use a calendar to track and plan my workouts and I will do this again this time through.
I will be posting weekly goals and my workout plan on this blog.
I will also put links in to the products I use and the blogs I may read.
