Week 8

Recovery Week 2 - made it to the second recovery week of P90X3. Again I have modified the workouts because I cannot do the Pilates and I didn't feel like the original workouts gave me a good enough work. I add an extra day of yoga and keep running and even add a bike if time allows.

Workouts: B+ /A  P90X3 workouts have been great. Runs have been good when I can get them in outside, last Saturday I ended up finishing a 12 mile run in a snow storm - yes it sucked. I was averaging 7:40 min miles until mile 10 when the flurries turned into a white out. Other runs have been on the treadmill and I will only do 4 miles on that machine because I end up with weird injuries with any more than 4 miles. 

Nutrition Grade: B Eating was better, I did drink one night but had that planned as I got together with some good friends from my Amigo Mio days.  

No Beer/No Sugar: C- Beer no, margaritas yes. Sugar, yes a few pieces of birthday cake and some girl scout cookies. 

Be Better Spouse: B- It is a two way street that like a garden requires attention every day

Very happy to have stuck to the workout routine for 2 months now, even better that I have stayed focused on the goals. Thanks to those who have sent me a message after having read this blog. 

Weight has been lost and it has stayed off. Glad to have taken it off slowly and the right way.

Decide. Commit. Succeed.
