a long year

Been a year since I posted something, been using twitter and instagram to keep updated in cyberworld.

Had a good 2016 for fitness, first time in my life I  ran every month. I took the last 2 weeks of December off from running and started up swimming again.

2017 - planning on staying focused to all fitness for a year including the nutritional side of things. Yes, it is a crazy idea but gonna try and commit and succeed this time.

Part of that is staying with cross training, swimming, beach body and yoga.

Never have a problem with January - March, it is the other 9 months of the year that kill me.

I stop swimming because it is nice out, but I swim at 5am when i wouldn't do anything outside anyway. Stop doing beach body workouts because it is nice outside, the ones I do now are 30 or 22 minutes long, really?!?! Oh wait, the gardening get in the way - just stop.

Bought a Garmin Vivoactive #garminfitness on eBay for $70 - great deal due to Vivoactive HR being out. I actually prefer the look of the original. I am not a watch wearer and the past week and a half have been a change. Like that it will last longer than my phone and mapmyrun when doing long rides.



I like the swim tracking feature, the run tracking has been great and I started using it to track my Hard Corps 22 workouts, with an additional heart monitor belt. It is really easy to use and the battery lasts forever.
